Community Organizer, She/Her

Phương was born in Vietnam and moved to Little Saigon in Orange County when she was 10. She remembers vividly having a terrible time flying that day and an amazing time watching a garage door lift up for the first time. After graduating high school, Phương decided to update her airline experience and thus traveled to the farthest college away from home, which became Williams College. Since then, she has lived in Germany and Vietnam and is back home in Anaheim. 

Phương is passionate about weaving racial, class, and gender analysis into her community building. She believes that radical movements for liberation must include people like her parents, who are complicated and secretively kind. From them, Phương has inherited the ability to rapidly spread news and bà tám when needed. Phương is currently the Community Organizer based in Orange County. In her free time, she enjoys learning the piano and writing poetry.
