Aeden Phạm

Operations Coordinator, He/They

Aeden was born and raised in Orange County, CA. He began volunteering at the age of 8, working with his own school, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the American Red Cross, and other organizations until entering university. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at UC Irvine, studying International Studies, Social Policy and Public Service. He continued his education abroad, receiving his Master’s degrees from Thammasat University and Chulalongkorn University, publishing research papers regarding race, gender, and sexuality in Thai and Korean popular media.

Aeden has had a diverse working background as well. He worked with KollobrationLA to expand opportunities for Asian American artists, with the Korean Resource Center to build out a robust youth political and professional development program, with the United Nations ESCAP to host an international conference, with the California Employment Development Department to provide financial support to the un/under-employed during the COVID-19 pandemic, etc. He now works with the California Healthy Nail Salon Collaborative, providing support wherever and whenever needed.

In his free time, Aeden trains to hone his craft as a performing artist.  He sings at open mics, dances with an LA-based dance team, and performs stand-up comedy at small venues. He is continually looking to further develop his artistry, particularly by writing, producing, directing, and collaborating with other artists.
